We invite you to participate in our Family Flavors week April 13-17. Parents have the opportunity to come into their child's classroom to lead the kids in cooking a simple dish that represents their culture. In the past, we've had pasta puttanesca, challah bread, cheese grits and all sorts of other delicious things! It's a lot of fun, and a sweet way for kids to share their family's culture.

Choose a day that works for you, and exact timing can be worked out with your child's teacher. Usually, people come in for 30 minutes or so, but it's pretty flexible.

If you are unable to participate, but want to share a recipe, please send it along. I can compile them and share with the school community!
